The heroes of Ulster are portrayed to us as grouped together at Eamhain Mhacha (Armagh), under the leadership of King Conchobhar Mac Neasa (Connor Mac Nessa), in the House of the Red Branch, (Craobh Ruadh). The north-east of the country has been the center for research into the history of Neolithic man in Ireland, being the only part in which flint is found in situ.
